Dr KK Yau DIRECTOR After graduating from the University of London in 1982, KK went on to complete a Ph.D. in Cambridge. This is where he started his home ownership journey in the UK and also began to invest in property with friends. In 1987, his family moved to Sale, Manchester for his new job with GEC. He was responsible for the engineering of power plant projects worldwide. Thus, he is familiar with building structure and maintenance. He continued investing in properties in Manchester, laying the foundation for property investment and management.
KK, who is keen on property investment, took an important step in 1997. He jointly purchased a hotel in Altrincham, Manchester. He personally took charge of the hotel's refurbishment and subsequent maintenance, and operated the hotel for 10 years. During one of the peak periods of the property market in 2007, the hotel was sold to a developer.
Experience in property also creates opportunities for KK to serve the society. He has always been concerned about housing issues for Chinese people in Manchester. From 2008-2016, he was invited to serve as a board member for the Tung Sing Housing Association, dedicated to the housing needs of Chinese people and improving their quality of life.
KK’s family now has more than 30 properties in various districts of Greater Manchester/Warrington and they take care of the letting, maintenance, and refurbishment themselves. Having lived in Manchester for more than 30 years, KK is familiar with properties, local environments, education, and tradesmen working on building projects and maintenance in the North West.
Tim Ng DIRECTOR Before relocating to the UK, Tim mainly engaged in the social services sector (Children & Youth, Family and Social Enterprise) in Hong Kong. Whilst he served in the social worker team in urban renewal projects, he accompanied different families in moving to new communities and assisted in their adaption to new residential environments as well as psychological needs. In addition, Tim devoted his time to voluntary work in property management and investment tasks, including: - attending landlord committee meetings - assisting in decision-making for building management and large-scale maintenance projects - a member of working groups to handle property investment projects - advising and assisting in resolving property disputes for different charitable organisations. Tim is a qualified Registered Social Worker (HK), personality trainer, forensic accountant and has completed general mediator training.
Angela Hau DIRECTOR Angela was born in Manchester, and has experienced growing up and living in the UK, including renting properties in London and buying in Manchester.
She has been a fully qualified teacher since 2015 and has taught in many schools around Manchester (Altrincham, Sale, Didsbury, Stockport, etc.) and London (Newham).
Not only that, Angela has taught abroad. Her experiences have increased her cross-cultural awareness and she knows that academic needs change for different cultures. If your focus is on education for your children, Angela would love to give you some guidance!
